About capitalisation, I just want to say that one of our (our my) biggest problmes about it is that if we, when writing an article put ''1.[[Portuguese]]'' like definition, capitalising the first letter because it is at the beginning of a phrase, the link will not exist! And because of that, the wiktionary will be, even if sligthly, necessarily wrong. Beside the work that it will be to change all the existent links... Redirects are not the perfect solution... What we do to differ the capitalised first letters of the words is to put '''''P''or.tu.gal''', or if it wasn't capitalised, '''''p''or.tu.gal''', inside the article.
